Playing the games
We currently have over 1,000 games in our collection — from quick card games to epic strategy titles. We’re adding to our collection all the time, so if you think we’re missing something, let us know and we’ll try to add it!
Not at all! Our team can help suggest games based on your group and explain the rules to get you started.
Absolutely! We do still charge for the use of the table, which we need to do in order to trade as your favourite board game cafe.
During busy periods, we limit bookings to 2 hours during the day. There is no time limit on evening bookings.
Yes, we charge a simple fee of £2 per person, per hour for access to the games library. We did this to enable us to keep the games in good condition and up to date.
Special Requirements
There is a small step at the front of our building, but we have a collapsible accessibility ramp available if needed. Once you’re inside Snacks, the entire building is accessible.
Yes, we have changing facilities in our accessible WC. We also have high chairs available and toys suitable for infants.
While our kitchen and bar area are not gluten, dairy or nut free spaces, we take dietary requirements very seriously.
You’ll find the major allergens clearly marked on our website, and all of our team members have access to an up to date allergens matrix on the tablets which they can share with you.

Booking, Payments and Rewards
Yes, we accept cash, as well as all major credit and debit cards including Amex
We don’t actually take payment when you book online, our booking system keeps your card details in case of a no show. We also don’t have access to those details, and it’s 100% secure.
We do! Each time you visit us, you’ll get the chance to earn “meeples”. You’ll get 1 meeple for every pound you spend*, which can be redeemed as money off your bill when you reach the milestones.
*Does not include alcohol sales.
Everyone is welcome but groups under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult
Food & Drink
No you can’t bring your own food or drink into the cafe. Only food and drinks purchased at our venue may be consumed on the premises.
But don’t worry, our menus have a huge range of options to suit all budgets and tastes. We make the majority of our menu items to order, so can always tweak a dish to your requirements.
If we know it’s someone’s birthday before they come in, we always try to present them with a complimentary birthday treat during their visit.
We also offer custom made cakes, brownie stacks and cookies by prior arrangement.
We operate a slow kitchen, and use air fryers rather than traditional oil fryers. Due to this there may sometimes be a delay in your food arriving, and it may come to the table staggered over a few minutes. While you’re waiting, grab a game and enjoy yourself!
Of course! You’re welcome to relax with food or drinks even if you don’t want to play. If you’re not playing, there is no play charge.
Yes, we have smaller portions and child-friendly options available.
Yes, we offer both standard and premium buffet menus for group bookings and private hire.
Events & Hire
Yes, we can offer venue hire, catering and full bar service. Get in touch to discuss the options available.
No, we don’t offer any party packages as we’re not specifically a childrens venue. We are very happy to cater for tables of birthday parties or events, but we do not have hosts to run the tables.
We can host small groups right up to larger gatherings — just let us know your numbers and we’ll arrange the best setup. Our general maximum capacity is between 70 and 80 covers.
